When is stamp duty due in NSW?
In NSW, transfer duty is generally payable within 3 months of the earliest of:

Your conveyancer or solicitor typically arranges payment at settlement. Late payment may incur interest and penalties.
Can I get a stamp duty concession if buying with someone ineligible?
Yes, under shared equity arrangements, you can still claim the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme if you and other eligible buyers are purchasing at least 50% of the property. The ineligible buyers pay standard duty on their share. However, this doesn't apply if your spouse is one of the ineligible buyers.
